You put an engine on your ring? That conjures up all kinds of undesirable images. Thread totally hijacked, sorry. I am quietly confident about tonight. Just a shame it's not a home game, I have a great mate who happens to be a colleague over from the States for work. He has taken me to Blackhawks (great) and Cubs (depressing) games in Chicago, and wants to see the Rs in action. When was the last time we won 3 in a row? If the answer involves Redknapp, ignore the question.
did you not read all the thread sb QPR have won their opening two league games - they have not won their opening three since 2010-11, which ultimately saw them win promotion from the Championship
I speed read it mate, those were amongst the 90% of the words I missed out. I do remember 'and' and 'the' though.
You forgot the most famous of all Barnsley men, Mick Mc Carthy. He is famous for having a row in Saipan.
Darren gough Brian glover Howard Webb Harry worth Charlie Williams The list is endless, except that's it
Barnsleys most famous sons....The Bar Steward Sons of Val Doonicans doing Lady in Greggs The Lady in Greggs, makes pasties for me (through the week) And when she makes sausage rolls (I forget how to speak)
The Greenhoff brothers both of whom played for Man U, for those of us who remember that football was played before 1992....... Someone called Joseph Bramah the inventor of the flushing water closet and the beer pump......we have a lot to be grateful for.......
Top work Kiwi..........like, like, like, like....... Will there be canape's served along with the drinks when we go over to the Barnsley board post game for refreshments?
Just for a bit of light reading here's LFW preview of tonights' game..... http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footba...uesday-(wednesday)-night-in-barnsley--preview
Best away game of (any) season although technically we should be playing them at Oakwell on a freezing cold and rain sodden night in February when our 'foreign' contingent aren't up for it Best pie and bovril in the land
Has anyone seen if this game is being televised anywhere? Is it just on Wednesday because we played on Sunday or for TV reasons? Just wondering if there might be a stream somewhere but not too hopeful.
Think it's because we played Sunday.......no TV but probably on local radio if you're lucky enough to be able to pick up a signal, unlikely to be online coverage due to "contractual rights".......
Teams are up - http://www.skysports.com/football/barnsley-vs-qpr/teams/358135 - looks like a strong team to me. Are we playing in the duck egg blue & black tonight? please log in to view this image
