I go in there and make a point of saying "fillaaaaay O fish" just to emphasise the ridiculousness of the name.

I hate to break this to you Spurlock but it's not cod anymore either :(

It's not mate, are you sitting down? They changed it a few years ago to conserve the amount of cod in the north atlantic (the brexit donkeys blame the EU). It's now a fish called Hoki... also known as Dolphin Friendly Pollock <ok>

Tbf if you can't tell the difference I wouldn't worry about it <laugh>

I got put off fast food years ago. I was between marriages at the time and so would often go for a 'few drinks' after work.

Once it got late I had to go to Victoria to get a train home. The crafty bastards had stuck Burger King under the announcement boards. I mean, it calling out to you, ffs!
Sooo, I go and buy double whopper with cheese, fries, etc. End result was pretty much always it would end up all over my suit as the train rocked about ( or maybe it was me!) £15-20 for a suit clean!...

****ing expensive burger, so I stopped eating that ****...

Now normally this would descend into a pissing contest over which North London club is actually not really a North London club but a South London club blah blah blah and 20 pages later we'd all awake up from the coma. But seeing as HIAG the antagonist (to the gooner protagonists) isn't here I'm hoping we can side-step all that

We lived in Haringey for a number of years when I was a kid. Spurs were my local team. Moved to South London later....

I got put off them for a totally different reason, I used to travel into London every workday and as you can imagine travelling with any TOC is a major ball ache. What used to kill me was as you wandered through the train in the vain attempt that you might possibly find a seat you could find these 'fast food terrorists' with their burgers n fries which stunk the whole carriage out.

All I could really ever smell was the fat content and these people would sit alone slathering bits all over the place. Maybe it's me but I always found this anti social but that's why I never eat fast food. Dismounts soap box!
