    Good point, though those medals we have zero idea about, whereas the Sailing one is a definite Gold.

    Laura Trott should win Sports Personality of the Year IMO, but that boring bastard Murray will get it as he won Wimbledon and the Gold.

    well tbh if you include world championships she has 11 roughly ... if she does not go down in history as our best woman Olympian in history something is wrong , absolute legend (and cute too I will add)

    and the reason I brought the world championships into it is that the WC only have the tope ranked riders , no auto qualify ... she destroyed them all and will for the next 2 Olympics

    Murray, Trott, Farah, Whitlock and Kenny have all in one way or another set or equated GB Olympic records.

    In any other year they would each walk it.

    For me, Murray would be last out of those lot.

    Olympic year has always been pretty good when it comes to SPOTY. I bet we can guess what will win 'Team of the Year'...
