Is it still open does anybody know? Me and @Bri OBE were suppose to be calling in for Brekkie Sunday morning, but i was talking to a lad at work last night and he reckons its just closed down. Is this true?
It's for sale but was open at the weekend. Cannot see it shutting. The company have to sell so many but this pub makes a profit but not as much as the Cooper Rose, same owners, just up the road.
What time you lads looking to get to the Worm.... I've got an early start as I've gotta gan thru to Saltburn to pick up my lad first.... So brekkie sounds good ??
I would have dodged down but am in York at the races. You lucky lucky people.not having to put up with me.
What a fantastic day. Couldn't sacrifice a match for it like but but York races is ****ing class. Enjoy mate.
The future of a prominent Sunderland city centre pub is uncertain after it was put up for sale. The Lambton Worm in Low Row is one of more than 40 venues put on the market by operator JD Wetherspoon. The pub is located on the ground floor of the Sunderland Central Travelodge Hotel. The chain has appointed estate agents Savills and CBRE to handle the disposal of 45 of its pubs. The majority are located in London and the South, but others in the North East include The Union Rooms in Newcastle and The Leaping Salmon in Berwick. The properties are being considered for sale either individually, in small packages or as a portfolio. Yes it should have been! Although I only know the song because I took the time to learn it for an event however I decided against insulting everyone with my horrendous voice.
