http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...redmond-debut-statistical-review-3252024.aspx Nathan's impressive stats from the Watford game. He must know I have my eye on him.
The most impressive stat is Hojbjerg's 100% passing rate.che was playing in a very busy midfield, pushing forward with every opportunity, yet never misplaced a single pass. He's going to be a beast for us over the next couple of years. And he came from Bayern, so it is unlikely he will be impresed by the glamour of piddling little clubs like Liverpool and Everton.
Oh. I'm sure I read, in a recent interview, Hojberg say how the likes of Walcott, Bale and others had progressed to bigger teams, after playing for Saints. Not saying those were his exact words, but the alarm bells started ringing.
He did make some comment like that...however not necessarily a bad thing if it encourages players to come to us. Better than not having them at all.
Very true, one of the reasons our former players might not be succeeding is they're missing that personal motivation. They're at a big club on mega money, maybe they're resting on their laurels ever so slightly
Redmond overall a good game, my only gripe is that he was getting bullied by the defenders, playing against CBs rather than against full backs is totally different which is something he will have to learn
