LDL - any presentation of information, facts or whatever by any of the parties will almost certain move this forward, regardless of where it's coming from

You really don't get it, do you?

If West Ham, the OPLC and Newham Council had done nothing wrong, then nothing that Spurs could find out, through fair mean or foul, could indicate otherwise.
Spurs didn't create some fiction in which West Ham's Olympic Project Director was living with one of the executives of the OPLC, who also worked for West Ham and had worked for Newham in the past.
    It's just a fact.
    Sorry.

Regardless of whether there was any wrongdoing or not, it clearly appears that there was the potential for it and the situation was easily avoidable.
Tottenham are not in the wrong here, no matter how much crap G&S try to sling around to suggest otherwise.

Can't disagree with the connection, but if it's deemed through independent hearings that nothing was dodgy, then by using the alleged means Spurs / Times may have caused more trouble for themselves than it was actually worth, but carry on!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can't disagree with the term " conflict of interest" then!

The means of how this most basic code of business practice has been discovered is irrelevant.

If, and when, a truly independent enquiry exonerates WHU, and it's employees and directors from all wrongdoing, then I, for one, will be happy to accept that. Until such time, however, there remains a very nasty stench about the way this whole sordid little episode has been conducted.

Yep, this again. I suppose mainly because WHU have commissioned their own enquiry into the whole process; which, surprise, surprise, has concluded that the Spammers, and their employees, are totally innocent of any wrongdoing whatsoever.

To paraphrase: West Ham United launched their own independent enquiry - failing to understand the obvious contradiction that an enquiry isn't independent when they paid for it.

The fact that West Hamm announced the findings on their website, rather than allow the "independent" board to do so, speaks volumes.

Well if others are going to allegedly hire PI's and potentially break privacy laws then why wouldn't they go out of their way to defend themselves? The fact is, it probably wasn't the smartest move to have that connection between Knight and our Director, then it remains to be seen if the Spurs method of digging up any kind of dirt, was actually the dumbest move out of the two.

It's not illegal to hire a private investigator.
In this instance, it actually appears to have been a sensible decision, as it has exposed West Ham and the OPLC's shoddy behaviour.

There are more than one way to acquire phone and bank records and not all of them are illegal.

Oh look, more mud-flinging from David Sullivan, throwing allegations of phone hacking and identity theft our way - with the added irony that The Sun is reporting about phone hacking, which is something they didn't do when Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson were aiding the police with their enquiries.

    Desperate, Sullivan, desperate...

Nonsense. This "Inquiry" is of the same value as the old bill investigating themselves. Highly amusing, but completely worthless. This all smacks of a desperate attempt to divert attention from the facts - and to get your retaliation in first. It won't work. Sullivan & Co seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that everybody is as thick as the readers of their tawdry little rags.

UK Athletics have recently bid for the 2017 World Championships. It would seem the track is not going anywhere anytime soon. Enjoy it pal, it's the only thing you will win for quite a while.

Now, now don't start getting personal, as usual. You really think the two companies appointed would risk their reputation?

You've had a little result today, take it and be gratefull, NDP here you come!

The two companies were only working from the information that they were provided with.
No reputation staking required, I'm afraid.

I doubt that anybody knows, to be honest, Lidls.

If they pay Spurs off, then they'd only have to deal with Orient.
    Groundshare?

I'd groundshare with Orient, if it meant we had the OS. Only for a limited time tho, until they can sort something else out.
