I really don't care what you do to be honest Kev but feel free to keep making a **** of yourself pal.
I don't care if i make a **** of myself, i'm not here to be arse buddies with anyone, i've no complex like you of making myself look a twat, the sooner you dumb ****s learn that the quicker the understanding. If people want to be an arse with me, I'll be relentless back - after all GC is open to all, not just a clicky little Scottish clan
Si and his buddy are normally in tandom when it comes to derailing threads, mainly because they are thick, but then they have the front to complain about Jonno's threads....oh the irony!
There's loads of black dudes in the Olympics, and not a single one has stabbed anyone that I've seen. I think you might be biased.
From what i remember of the video (i cant be bothered to watch it again), he basically had two points : 1. The media exaggerates the threat of terrorism in Europe. 2. The main (or a major) cause of any terrorism that actually does exist in Europe, is mental health. If governments spent more on mental health issues, there would be less terrorists. I completely disagree with one. The police and intelligence services have made clear that terrorist attacks are a very real risk. The reason that you see armed police in public places, isnt because they read something in the paper about someone being stabbed and it being something to do wih terrorists. I agree that the media gets pet subjects that it overplays, but I don't believe terrorism is one such topic. If anything, theyre usually quick to say that there's no evidenc of terrorist involvement, and that there's just been another 'random attack'. 2 doesnt really stack up to me either. The increased terrorism risk has occurred in conjunction with an increased amounts of refugees, and he increased influence of ISIS. It's not because everybody's suddenly got mentally ill. I sont disagree that some terrorists have mental health issues, and i dont disagree that it woukd be great if more momey and attention could be given to mental health issues. I dont agree that the cure to terrorism risks, is a general increase in the level of mental health care. There is - as i mentioned above - a major issue of mental health of refugees from war zones, however this does nit mean that they are going to become terrorists. It means that they need care for the shocking hings theyve seen happen to their world. If that care could be given id be all for it, but it is a massive effort, that i believe is likely to realistically be unmanageable. I am therefore still ofmthe view that the comedian's views are total bollocks. Not saying this to argue. Just my view.
