Did Kodija play wide at Burton ?
Think you should remind RODney and Banksy of your game knowledge.

No his words was "He would be a better winger than CF"

Didn't your mum tell you it's not funny to encourage the one's from the sunshine bus?

Bolasie was another I was wrong about, thought he was a box of frogs.
Made me have some respect for Coppell who brought both Bolasie and Albert to AG.

He got fed up with being sat on the bench, if we had played him regularly, he may not have left.

'Millen bought Bolasie I think' - I'm wrong again.

'if we had played him regularly' - but I never thought his performances merited a starting place.
Bloody mystery to me is Bolasie.

Or maybe we have a problem developing players....many go on to be so much better than when here.

He was strong as an ox and the hunger/desire was clear to see. I compared him to Essen in terms of his physical style at the time and it is fair to say that he was a bit of a bull in a china shop and needed to tone to down/control it but rather that than a shrinking violet

I could never understand the reason why we played him as a sub for Albert, when we could have deployed them both at the same time on opposite wings.
Even Barnet had that worked out - yet we hardly ever played them at the same time.
Both premiership players in their own right now.

Because he did not grab games by the short and curlies and indicate he should start. He was often anonymous, lax without the ball, wasteful in possession etc.

Could you highlight the games where you felt this lad will really be something? I can't.

Two games stood out for me. Both times as a sub- We played Coventry at the end of the season. Came on with the score at 1-1. Stead having scored at both ends. Matter of seconds later got his first goal and effectively kept us up. It put us 4 points clear with 2 games to go.

One other time, cant remember who against, came on with about half an hour left. Got a silly booking and shortly after got another.

Frustrates me that if he is worth £25m, and I do question that, is that someone should have seen it-Same could be said about Pogba, but at least it wasn't us buying Bolasie back

That's the only two games I could remember, plus then he left saying he wanted to be closer to London. Which unless Everton has moved without telling us, then he's moved further away.

As to Barnet playing both is clutching at straws as they technically sold one to us and one to Plymouth. Perhaps their squad dictated they played together I don't know. But Albert and Bolasie wasn't excatly defensive so would be leaving Skuse and Elliott doing all the donkey work, when opposing teams was going through us at the time.

That game he got sent off was horrendous it was like he was on a mission.

I don't have any standout memories. Skillful yes, effective no and decided to leave
At Bristol City I remember a skillful but inconsistent ineffectual player who could not force his way into a poor team, he then chose to leave. I would disagree totally that he kept BCFC up.

Will look on with interest how he proceeds. Not many players have a trick named after them.

I did use the word effectively! Yes he wasn't responsible for much else. The goal making it 2-1 put us 4 points clear with 2 to play. Chris Wood sealed it in injury time. It was the one and only time that I ever took my Mum to a game. She was treated to a sell out and a cracking atmosphere.
