I will. People are in such a rush to criticise him they ignore [HASHTAG]#reality[/HASHTAG]

He didn't give the ball away, Lallana did. The entire team was ****e in the first half not just him. He won the ball for the alleged penalty.

He's young and Klopp will either bin him for being uncoachable or else turn him into one of the best fullbacks in Europe in a year or so.

<rofl>

I admire your ferocious (but blind) loyalty. I have a Labrador, but I'll bear you in mind when he goes to the Great Kennel In The Sky.

He was nowhere near the ball, got it completely wrong.
He did get to the ball first but because he didn't get much on it he followed through on to Walcott. It was a wild challenge.
I think maybe the lino didn't see the touch on the ball

Played the ball. Obstructed by Walcott. Free kick to Liverpool. [HASHTAG]#endof[/HASHTAG]

Can't blame the linesman there though I watched the replay and still missed the touch on the ball. <laugh>

<laugh> Wouldn't go that far but there is a case for no penalty because he did get the ball first. It was just so wreckless, and we see this
time and time again in his tackling

Yup...it was second like it in the box that early...got more of the ball first time luckily for him.

It was uncontrolled....you need a brain to control your limbs...Moreno, lovely chap he is...has a walnut instead.

Rather a flawed argument about touching the ball first if both feet are off the ground and the tackle is uncontrolled. 'Touching the ball first' is not the trump card it used to be a decade ago - anyone remember Flanno's (correct) penalty awarded against W Ham a couple of seasons ago when the goalie wiped him out even though he got a slight glove on the ball? yeah, what goes around and all that.

Moreno must use his brain. His timing is always wrong, when opposition know he is the weak link they
are likely to target him, I think Walcott knew this.

Nah, Walcott is more brainless than Moreno, he didn't target anything

Moreno's challenge was reckless, he may or may not have got the faintest touch on the ball but he cleaned Walcott out in the process, it's therefore a nailed on penalty.

Only a complete dolt would argue otherwise. *hello astro*

I know you have blind faith in most matters LFC and that's ok. I also know most people jump all over you when you make a blind faith statement but in all honesty watching it back I'm sort of/almost/ nearly going to agree with your statement, except although he was looking to play the ball, I don't think he did get a touch. This video goes on and on and on .... but if you watch it from 0.54 there's definitely a case for Moreno not intentionally taking Walcott down but Walcott jumping in. We just get carried away because it's Moreno and he is reckless and he isn't yet ready for this team imo.
