Nothing to do with us being Champions. Everything to do with a ****e pre-season. If we'd have done the usual bunch of sides like Mansfield then we'd have been fine. We'd be refreshed and ready to go. Just as we were when we were 3-0 up against Sunderland after 19 minutes last season.
Funny how Man U, Man City and Liverpool managed with hectic pre-seasons, big games and lots of travelling. If that's how respond to international games against big teams then your league form is really going to suffer because of the Champions League.
Precisely. And anyway, whose fault is that? They could turn down these big glamour games and travelling to play 'the usual bunch of sides' instead if they wanted to.
They cope with it because they've got extraordinarily large squads. We don't. Luckily all 6 of our games following Champions League group stage games come at home and we only play Man City of teams that finished in the top half last season.
I've no idea what you're on about. Obviously it is. We're the team to beat. Everyone wants to knock us off our perch. We lost on Saturday because we were hugely unprepared both physically and mentally for the new season.
I agree with Zlatan being in the team, he puts the oppo on edge just being on the field just like Cantona did and his goal was completely decisive, defenders don't fancy it up against him physically either just like Cantona and he was getting right into the Bournemouth lads. Goal turned the game for me.
You lost on Saturday because you were out thought by a temporary manager and out fought by a depleted squad. The only PL team that can genuinely claim to be underprepared is us.
Vardy's scoring rate was poor for Leicester before last season wasn't it? Any fears 2015/16 was a flash in the pan? I reckon you might do a Man City and be relegated the year after winning the league.
Vardy missed a great chance around the edge of the area I think that was mishit to the side, but Leicester got a questionable penalty later anyway.
