Sky isn't really set up for sprinters, never has been ... it's a GC rider's team. Other teams on the pro-tour are set up for sprinters or focus more on them, Sky just want to win the GTs, they ragged him when he rode for them in 2012 especially at TdF where he was just a domestique for Wiggins and they gave him virtually no help on the stages he did manage to get the win on

Brilliant 800m final with David Rudisha seeing off all his opponents!!! The pole vault was tremendous with the Brazilian claiming gold after soaring over 6.03!!! As it was a wet night the Bermudan runner, Miller chose to dive her way to the gold medal!!! So a great and wonderful night of athletics.

 

The french vaulter was a right whine about brazilians booing and whistling.

 

He's probably taking a red wine to soothe his distress. Maybe there is a future for Ballotelli! He should take up this event as he is often as high as a kite.

The Guardian report that the nation's top track cyclists were told to keep things downstairs as untended as possible to help prevent saddle sores.

“It was a tricky one to broach but we knew that we had to try to persuade the girls to stop shaving and waxing if we were going to sort out the saddle pain we knew all of them were suffering with," said Phil Burt, British Cycling’s long-time physiotherapist."

British Swimming Marathon guy just went absolutely nuts after getting disqualified...said he got a yellow card for contact with no other swimmer near him and a second yellow for being dragged back by the leg by a competitor...called the judges utterly useless lol...

 

Belarusian Talay is hot as feck..hurdles.

 

I'd go ****in nuts. Swim 10km for that...meters away from the finish too.
