    13/14 - Hull Tigers 37

I think we'll finish with around 70/80 points.

Some idiot on blunderside told Gollum Lloyd that we'd get fewer points than Derby did - bet Gollum won't get the tosser back on to re-evaluate his suggestion

Plenty of posters on here predicted single digits (some zero) before the Leicester match. Wonder if any of those are revising their opinions now?

I never thought we'd be pushing Derby's record. I thought we may have a Villa-esque season, which still is very possible if there's no investment this window. This group of players will burn out long before January.
But I didn't expect us to beat Leicester, I predicted a 1-0 defeat similar to the two 2-0 away loses we started 13/14 with, what is it people called them? Morale boosting defeats? But I massively underestimated how much of a say team spirit would have in the result and performance and prehaps also underestimated Mike Phelan's tactics.
It does feel at the moment us fans are the players voice. They evidently want the Allams gone but can't voice that. I feel like we have the best player-fan relations in the league, ironic as we have the worst club-fan relations.

I think he's taking the piss with the names we were called by the owners in those years!

In 09/10 who called us Hull City Tigers?

Just seems a bit unnecessary but I did assume that was his point.

There is no whoosh. I understood the intention was to use the various names the Allams have called us, however they didn't own us in 09/10.

Also, 2015/16 was the season just completed in the Championship, not this season.

They could still be right. No players in when the window closes and then yet more injuries adds up to a disastrous season.

I said 85 points a few days ago and I stick with that total.

    82 points with 37 games remaining = 2.2 points a game....piece of piss<cheers>

If we get some signings then the total rises to 90 points.

    Yeah
As it stands, with no new signings, 16/17 points seems about right

With no new signings we are totally ****ed

13 fit players, 4 long term injuries and then it's bunch of kids

I'm sure we'll buy / loan players but if we don't we will struggle to beat many teams

I would love to know what Ehab thinks of it all. At the end of the day he's going to be living in West Hull with everyone knowing he completely
****ed it up at a pace that is hard to fathom. It's virtually impossible to **** it up more than it has been!

Actually that would be a good thread to revisit - the 'guess how many points we'd get'. Might be some red faces.

Can anyone be bothered to trawl back for it?

If the odds of us staying up are decent, I'd lump on big time.

I said that, unless something significant changes, we will beat Derby's record. I still believe that. Anyone thinking the Leicester result changes anything is naïve in the extreme. We are walking an incredibly thin tight rope, meaning that unless / until something significant changes, we are 1, maybe 2, injuries or red cards (or transfer requests?) away from disaster and embarrassment.
A lot of talk about new owners and us putting offers in. We've been hearing that for months. Although to be fair, I do truly believe we are about to see new owners and to finally see some signings. If we don't then we will beat Derby's record.
