Forster Pied yoshida vvd target Romeu Hoyjoleberyg. Davis Tadic Austin. Redmond Bench- McCarthy fonte Cedric jwp classie Jrod reed If fonte is stropping about a potential transfer to Utd then I wouldn't give him his first start at old Trafford. Just saying like. Hard to drop long but I want pace against tired legs and want to see us play with more than just pace. Edit: our bench is a bit light these days, not many game changers there.
Leave plenty of time for your journeys. Use the M6 Toll Road to get round the usual Birmingham traffic jam and then ...good luck with the M6 north! It took me the best part of four hours on Saturday to get to SMS and I live near the end of the Toll Road
We could just lie and suggest to Jose that his move depended on us beating United....he'd be a blur defending our line and score a hat trick.
I don't see why we couldn't get a result against United. Watched both of their matches this season, they're. Not playing any better than last season. But they have some great players who can change a match in a moment.
I cannot pretend we aren't weaker than at the end of the last season and our new players and manager have to bed in properly. I just feel that we are meeting United at the wrong time....bearing in mind the Mourinho factor. I'd be more confident if van Gaal was in charge at OT. Our best hope is holding out and getting a late goal (a la Charlie Austin) or holding on for a draw....can't see us setting the world on fire. (If fate wants to see that as a temptation, then please do and make it a 4-0 win to us ).
Absolutely. They've played Bournemouth and the community shield. No reason to think we can't go there and have Shane chirp away at Baillie all game - he'll not understand a world of his high pitched Irish speak and get all confused. Charlie off the bench to get the winner.
Il do what i always do when playing the "big" teams.expect to get spanked and be pleasantly surprised when we take all 3 points
Hold them to 0-0, then bring on Charlie. Fonte to score whilst 11 United players mark Austin. #perfect
Bronze - look back through this, someone did have a spare ticket or two and I told them you were looking. Edit: not this thread!
It struck me a few players were held back on Saturday for this game. This is a very different Man Utd to the last two seasons. They are back to their best so I'll be happy with a draw (great to sneak a win but even Im not quite that optimistic!!).
This match is already a positive in my mind. The more matches where Saints and Arsenal play on different days the better. Not expecting us to get anything from this one, so as Mowgli says, I'd be happy with a point here.
If it was bencredible they are gone sadly! I'm moving to Manchester thursday so might rock up outside the stadium before the game and chance my arm
A chap who sits next to the bloke behind me has tickets but can't go. I don't have his number but will ask the bloke behind me if he does.
