So we return to action with an extra day’s rest over Utd who beat Bournemouth a day after we were unlucky not to beat Watford at St Mary’s. It may be me, but Utd were not as convincing as the score line suggested, and I think we can do this again this year, even without the FLD at the helm. What formation will we play? The diamond is looking like the way forward. Once we get used to it and realise (as fans) that it is a fluid formation we’ll be good. I’m tempted to start with Austin, but I can’t justify dropping Redmond or Long or Tadic.
