I went to place a bet on 5 or more goals in that game, but I only got 4/1 for it, so didn't bother. They've had quite a few games like that since Klopp has come. That 5-4 against Norwich last season was a cracker.
I know there are bets for goals, corners, free kicks and all the rest. It`s something I never look at. Bri and Tel have also mentioned things about -1 and -2. Don`t understand that either tbh.
-1 and -2 is handicap betting. Say we were playing away to Chelsea and you thought we were going to get spanked. You could back Chelsea -1, which effectively means Sunderland get a 1 goal head start, so to win your bet, Chelsea would need to win by 2 or more goals. I.e If the match finishes Chelsea 3 - 1 Sunderland, then because you have backed -1 on the handicap, in the eyes of the bookie that matched finished 3-2, so you still win your bet. If you backed Chelsea -1 and the game finishes Chelsea 2 - 1 Sunderland. Then your bet would be down as in the eyes of the bookies the match finished 2-2 because of the goal head start Sunderland have.
I thought it was more complicated than that. I think I`ll be taking a bit more notice of the betting thread.
If ever a second yellow should have been issued it was for that challenge on the keeper. Then the nasty git gets the winner.
