Well, he's entitled to breath - occasionally. As regards his forecasting, I just don't understand why anyone should get hot under the collar about it. Is he an oracle? Of course not. Did he, or any of the other forecasters, pick Leicester to win the title? No, not one of them. For many seasons Savage predicted that Aston Villa would be relegated from the P.L.,much to the chagrin of many Villa fans who use to have a go at him on BBC 606, every week. It was hilarious. Did they go down? No. However, last season, Savage predicted that Villa WOULDN'T be relegated. So, go figure. He knows as much as anyone else, i.e., not much when it comes to predictions. I find him extremely irritating, though, and have stopped listening to 606. Pintado, bless him, had the right idea re Robbie Savage, and that flying tackle, from behind, was as good as it gets.
Yeah Pintado the bull goes down in the history books for that tackle , as for Savage he's a twat of the highest order, not just for predictions but for himself in general, I actually met him once and he came across as one self righteous prick.
Savage is employed as a pundit, by the BBC. He is expected to be controversial, since controversial means higher listening/viewing figures. What he says isn't necessarily what he thinks/believes. He is what he is.
Referee Anthony Taylor is having a mare. N'Golo Kante, already on a booking, chops down Dimitri Payet from behind but no booking. Why not? Guaranteed if that was a player not on a booking he would have been given a yellow.
Just a general statement lib , he was going on about Williams being one of the " Summer Signings of the seasons " in the Prelmier . I don't know , he just rubs me the wrong way in general . Just got in from roofing all day in 31 C , just about time to become the ex roofer again . Well back at er! Have a good one .
Young Kingsley has been named, along with Fabianski, in the Talksport team of the week. So, word is out that we have another young player who is making a name for himself. If he keeps on making progress, he will attract one of the big boys, sooner rather than later. And, no, I don't listen to Talksport, honest.
