It was relative to the club and not to later achievements. I didn't hear one fan celebrating Doris leaving at the time. As I said it's all relative and losing our number 1 keeper just after gaining promotion to the premiership I can see where BR was coming from with pool losing suarez.
But the difference is that we and BR did replace him with someone actually better, Liverpool and him didn't replace Suarez with anyone remotely on a par with him, not even anyone who could bite quite like him
