I posted a link the club accounts in case anyone wanted to look at them and you think that's a reason to take a pop? Jeez.
The one you closed yesterday had nothing to do with terrorism. It wasn't political either, but an argument over economics and the ludicrous claim his miner father was paying supertax in the 1970s, which would have meant he was earning £188,000 at today's values. I quoted the highest rates of tax to him, 83% and mentioned it was that until Thatcher brought it down to 60%. He made a remark he was basing assertions about Yugoslavia having better living conditions on a book he had read. I merely said if he believed everything he read in books it was a good job he hadn't read a certain one. The mere mention of those names had you declaring it political and then locking it. Which in my humble opinion was unnecessary.
Exactly, and had I not been busy watching my daughter's wedding video, I would simply have deleted that stuff and left the thread open. In fact, that's exactly what I'll do now, unless anyone thinks it's being too helpful?
If their parents are both 100 that would make them 14 when they had the kid.. Are you from Grimsby by any chance?
You'd have a point if it wasnt for the fact that I wasnt talking about the last month.I never mentioned 'the last month' at any stage.
The past month has seen more threads locked and deleted than normal, due to the Turkey, France and Germany attacks. Only three locked now, the I've re-opened yesterdays.
But I wasnt talking about the last month. I said Ive seen loads of threads closed and deleted on here. And I have.
