He's used various different systems, so I suppose it depends on which one he decides is going to be his preferred option at Goodison.

We're crying out for a Mata type player in the central area, who can pick the ball up and pick a pass. Barkley is more about powering forwards with the ball at his feet and then laying it off. We need someone who can take the ball in transition and get it forwards with accuracy hitting the runs of the big lad.

Liverpool are set to miss out on Real Madrid starlet Martin Odegaard following reports the playmaker will join French outfit Rennes on loan, with a decision expected this week. Meanwhile, the Reds have reiterated Christian Benteke won't leave for less than £32.5 million.

Like many people on here (As is usual with many posters on here)
- take against someone (-develop a dislike for someone)
then there's nothing down for them, (then there is no hope for them,)
no matter what they do. (regardless of how they perform.)

Personally I'd take the £2.5m loss and sell at £30m, think there is a sort of mental barrier from lower clubs when it comes to spending more than 30m, that they won't do it because its alot of money. So if we can sell and and only lose out on that £2.5m think we'd have done well.

Ironically thought Sundays game would have been perfect for big Ben. Two young inexperienced centre backs, who aren't very dominant in the air. Benteke could have had a field day against them.

It's not that long ago lower clubs were breaking the £10m. They're still coming to terms with breaking the £20m barrier.
