More realatic price but why would palace insist on 25% of the fee being in add ons for winning everything when, no disrespect, they are unlikely to actually receive it?
There'll be numerous clauses, based on appearances and overall success. Another lump if he ends up extending his stay etc etc. We've still over paid imo, but it's a mad market. Bolasie is a real handful though and I can see why Koeman wants him, playing with the likes of Barkley and Lukaku as opposed to what he was surrounded by at Palace is bound to help his output.
Always seems to have a stormer v ha as well Good player, but I don't think he gives enough goals and assists to be in that price bracket. When you compare him to Mane for example, Mane just has that extra goal threat which makes the difference between the 2. Definite improvement on Lennon or Oviedo in a wide role though and certainly improve you
I think he's quality. On his day he's unplayable, Koeman just needs to get his consistency levels up. Similar with Mane and Klopp tbh.
I think he's a classic koeman type player. I don't think lennon or gerry defailure are. I think koeman will want that fast and direct types.
He'll be playing wide left, which is where Martinez was playing Cleverley, so I think it's fair to say it's an upgrade I don't think his finishing is as good as Mane's, but I think he has more in his locker in terms of committing defenders and taking them on, which in turn creates space for others.
I wish lads would stop whining about us not selling benetke for less than this and saying 20-25mil.... the market is gone nuts.
So Lennon and Deulofeu aren't quick and direct? errmmm What Bolasie has over the pair of them is strength and heading ability. Geri was very good on Saturday btw, playing as a makeshift striker.
they aint koeman types, thats all... lennon is a head down run in the corner type.. always has been then sling an aimless ball across. no left foot. Koeman likes his strong men for sure
Sorry, if Yanik is going for 25-30m then us wanting 30m+ for Benteke is bang on, given the current madly over inflated transfer prices.. That's good money for a proven PL goal scorer and we'd be foolish to lower our demands, like the way Klopp plays hardball, pay up or sod off should be the clear message.

Not a fan of Bolasie - another Sissoko type in that he's very inconsistent but looks good on MOTD. Gueye is a very shrewd signing, very much in the Kante mould.
everton look to be shaping up for koeman. not lost many players form the last season team... adds williams who's just plain better than stones... solid header of the ball. Got two to screen the cbs so it will be solid defensively and the directness on the wing. I'm sure koeman will really not want to lose lucky and this will be key to the season for him. Who will everton buy if lucky goes?
Spoke to your mate recently? Find it worrying that we aren't really linked to any LB's, not since Chilwell and Hector anyway.
