Wished I could've watched it mate. I'm in Canada and all they've shown is hockey, women's netball, women's volleyball and women's diving. At least they're showing the athletics now. When I was in the US they mainly concentrated on their own, so saw very little of our winning medalists except for the swimmers.

Strangely enough they didn't show any of the test matches either.

Has to be one of the best matches I've seen - such a tough match but a fantastic performance by Andy Murray. Del Potro is super human!

999s, it's on about 10 NBC channels, I've just finished watching Andy win. The hotels have limited cable coverage. (but your right, the coverage is VERY USA biased)

I'm in an apartment in Toronto now mate and the coverage isn't as good as in the states. To be fair I didn't have much time to watch it in DC or New York as I was too busy. I only got to see it in the bar in the evening on silent so I didn't get to choose. I couldn't find the Murray match after browsing through a 100 or so channels. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Hope it's going well also, hope you didn't have a problem crossing that "river" between Ireland and the US! :)

Don't worry Ubes. Everyone knows honours are reserved for and only fully deserved by people who work in the back office at 10 Downing Street.

Sir Shaun Wright-Phillips.......for services above and beyond the call of duty in an illustrious career of cleaning boots and emptying bins in locker-rooms up and down the length of the country

I'm near Bangkok and apart from the occasional Medal check on BBC. Com, most of my coverage is from this thread. Thanks to all!

Has it ever been any different? New Labour were very fond of packing the Lords with their cronies - at the right price, of course...

Must admit I had to give in around midnight last night when Murray was 2-1 down in 4th set, just too knackered to stay awake any longer. Delighted that he won, it was a fabulous match up to that point........

To give it the proper sport feel for the pikinity, Route 1 is the only way Labour could ever score in m'Lords.

Great result for Sophie Hitchon taking bronze medal in the hammer throwing.

So good to see a woman who doesn't look like a drugged up bloke get a place in the women's event.
