Liverpool fans were excited as they topped the table for 68 seconds today...

... before being put back in United's shadow once again <cool>

    Nah, you're just boring me.

Liverpool always raise their game for the bigger clubs. Great to get the points but our season depends on how we do against the likes of Hull, Sunderland and Palace (all bogie teams for us).

I didn't watch the Bournemouth v Man Utd match btw

Didn't miss much. Man Utd played like a typical Mourinho team and Bournemouth lacked quality and creativity in the final third.

We were poor in the first half but got better as the game went on and were very good in the 2nd half. First game of the season away at a tricky ground, I'll take that. Scored 3 and conceded 1. Comfortable in the end. And all without 2 of our major signings. If that's a "typical Mourinho team" I'll take that all season.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the two signings who did start looked like worldies. Toss up between which was MOTM <ok>

we were poor in first half but got better as game went on and were very good in 2nd half. First game of the season away at a very tricky ground to team that were top 4 last year and didn't just avoid relegation, I'll take that. Scored 4 and conceded 3. Comfortable in the middle. And all without 2 of our major signings and best CF and a liability at LB. If that's a "typical Klopp teams" I'll take that all season.

Edit: Forgot to mention, 2 of the seasons who did start (Klavan & Mane) looked like Worldies. Toss up between which was MOTM <ok>

Francis for Bourmouth... got to be some looks into match fixing there. He set up Mata once, then set him up immediately afterwards when he ****s up the first chance <laugh>

He looks just like Mig as well, could have bene him making that pass.

talk about scrappy goals, 1st and 2nd for united certainly weren't classics or well worked!

Decent strike from Ibra for the 3rd to be fair, picked out corner well.

Nice strike for Bournemouth goal though, no stopping that.

ffs you lot never learn <doh>

When you come up against a decent defence, you'll still keep leaking goals. Yeh, if that's a Klopp team I'll take that all season too <ok>

You came up against a poor defence and poor attack yet scored less than us (1 of which was handed to you on a plate) and still conceded 1?

When you come up against a defence defence and attack you'll stop scoring the tap ins they gave you. If that's a Mourinho team I'll take that all season too <ok>

Not bitter? The first goal the defender set Mata up twice and 2nd was from a miss hit shot that luckily went straight to Rooney <laugh>

Weren't beautiful crafted goals like we created today <whistle>

Why because you say so? You didn't even see the game <doh> You're embarrasing yourself. They attacked us in the first half and we had a very good defence with a beast at CB that you could do with. I'm pleased with our defence including our goalie. Clearly you aren't with yours so what are you arguing about?

As for Mourinho, anyone who aims anything at him knowing his record is quite frankly kidding themselves. And you know what, I think you know that all too well mate <ok>

That's the problem when you see highlights. You're right about the defender but what you didn't see was Mata's persistence throughout that first half which paid off. He controlled the game for large parts, it wasn't just luck that he was there then.

And there was no build up the second goal? So Valencia did nothing then <doh>

Wasn't lucky the defender passed the ball to him for a 1v1.. which he then missed and then got lucky the defender set him up for another open goal tap in? <laugh>

2nd was still from a miss hit shot? Hey if that's a tactic and do it a few times then fair play will put it down to a tactical genius

I do think Bournemouth will struggle this year; second season syndrome.

Man Utd did what they needed to. As did we.
