    So pleased for Max Whitlock. I thought he'd get at least one gold. The rise of British gymnastics has been nothing short of amazing. For a sport once dominated by the Russians, Eastern Europeans and China to now have team GB on par with them is so nice to see. And for anyone who says silver and bronze don't matter then check out the Brazilians gymnast's reactions.

    It is very possible that we could be above China by the end of the day.

    We're on 11 golds now compared to China's 13, and we have Murray in the Tennis final, Rose fighting in the Golf, both Whitlock and Smith set to battle in the Pommel, Giles Scott looking good to medal in the Sailing, a Silver confirmed in the Windsurfing, and the Gold and Silver to be confirmed by Skinner and Kenny.
