Not sure that is fair to be honest. If we get a good offer for caulker and they have identified a replacement like that Barnsley lad it might still be good business.
What a great result. What a great football week. Three competitive matches. Three wins. Long may it last!!!!! Next league match on Wednesday. Could it be 9 points from 3 matches? I need pinch myself! COYR's!!!!
Caulker playing very well and zero goals conceded. That is no coincidence. If our owners have ambition, they will try to do all they can to keep him. He is a brilliant centre half to have in this league. I can't think of a centre half playing for any of our rivals I would rather have. If they sell him, as far as I am concerned, it will show a lack of ambition on their behalf, to me at least.
Don't panic Fingy, JFH is on record as saying he wants to keep Caulker. Mind you, if he is playing well ( though it was him who fell asleep to gift that Leeds striker a chance with only Smithies to beat last week) someone might make us an offer we can't refuse in the next couple of weeks.
I only wish - knowing us it could also turn out to be one of those Scunthorpe away trips, as in our Warnock promotion season - I sincerely hope not though now that we have the momentum going.
This is the worry, if he plays another two or three big games for us and one of the PL teams needs a panic buy at the end of the window he could be gone with little time to replace him. It's similar to Charlie last season, your biggest asset can also be your biggest liability...
[ Luckily for us Caulker has the experience of moving away TWICE and being a bench sitter for months both times. It will be interesting to see what he does and what his "team" persuade him to do.
Thanks for posting 999's. Love the bit as the end as the Cardiff fan shouts, "blow the whistle ref, we 've had enough". Sounds like we beat them well.
