Anyone notice that the very last advert at half time was a clip on a mobile saying "and that's a great come back by Bournemouth"
We've looked suspect down our left all game. Gaps there when Shaw is out of position and it's a bit of a worry. Notable performance by Blind. He's been very good. Rio-esque.
Good performance by most except Rooney who was rubbish (I know we're not allowed to tell the truth about him on here) - Fellani was better, less of a liability, but his first thought still seems to be to pass the ball backwards rather than taking it forward into space himself, or even pass it forwards. Zlatan on fine form, plenty of energy on a hot day. Would like to see more of Mikki now that Mata seems to have kissed and made up. Top of the league !!
Shaw and Martial both looked off the and not at their best. They didn't give us much down the left from an attacking point of view, and left us exposed in defence imo. Will be interesting to see if Mourinho persists with those two on one flank. Herrera was also disappointing - didn't really get to grips with midfield. He was poor in the CS as well. Have to be honest - I thought Mourinho was only using Fellaini in CM as a placeholder until Pogba joined, but on the last couple of displays it's more likely to be Herrera or Rooney who make way for Pogba, depending on the formation. Pogba partnering Fellaini as our preferred CM partnership. Who would have predicted that back in June?
There's a beautiful symmetry to it. Moyes gets the best out of Fellaini at Everton Utd decide to appoint Moyes as manager instead of Mourinho Moyes signs Fellaini and fails to get the best out of him at Utd Moyes is fired [LVG is ignored for convenience] Mourinho is appointed and gets the best out of Fellaini It's like a Disney movie with less racial stereotyping
