I have no idea. He's too inconsistent. Ramsey, Sanchez, Elneny should all be above Theo in the penalty takers list. (as well as Cazorla, Giroud, Wellback, Ozil)
Surprised Koscielny, Ozil and Giroud are not even in the squad. I know they only came to training a few days ago but still.
Underserved sucker punch there but I'm happy with our performance. Side-note - what's worse, Moreno's man bun or his 1st half performance?!
We've been the better team first half and deserved to go in leading I thought, a shame to give away a free kick (didn't think it was a free kick personally) but Coutinho did well to score it.
That's a cracking free kick. Not saving those. Thought it was a bit soft but I'm not going to complain. We've been the better side. Keep up the intensity, make smart subs, don't make silly errors playing out the back and we should still be able to edge this.
Lovren and Moreno look like real liabilities. We should be putting everything on top of them in the 2nd half.
I'm surprised at how well we've played, and Liverpool haven't really threatened us that much, which is why it's incredibly frustrating to be going into the second half honours even. The free-kick was a worldie to be fair, but Liverpool are really fortunate to be going into the second half at 1-1. We need to be targeting Moreno more because he's on a yellow, already given away a penalty and has looked positionally suspect all game. I think Iwobi needs to provide more defensive cover for Monreal because he's getting doubled-up on and the young winger isn't always tracking back to offer support, as good going forward as he's been. I'd consider taking Coquelin off because he's on a yellow. Bring Xhaka on who can tackle just as well, but has a better passing range. Overall, we've been decent. Chambers (bar that one stupid pass) and Holding have looked good together. I just hope Coutinho's equaliser doesn't take the wind out of our sails because we were in the ascendancy for pretty much the whole half.
