By the way, I don't think Bournemouth are as bad as everyone is making out. They posed a good attacking threat. We just had too many worldies for them to cope with. There'll be plenty of teams they'll beat at home based on that performance.
Yeh that's what they did, despite being camped in our half and keeping our defence on our toes. They wanted us to win We were poor first half, but got better as the game went on. First game of the season, I'll take that. But the signs are there. And all without many of our new signings. I like Bailly. He looks perfect for the PL, monster of a defender Ibra's goal was poor, and Utd were poor. But 3 points on the board, just a pity Bournemouth didn't bother showing up.

Blind was excellent today I thought. Every tackle was timed to perfection and he covered for the full backs when needed. That finish by Ibrah was no fluke, he placed that like any great forward. Reminded me of Henry's placement. Not always about power, but knowing where the goal / far post is. I wasn't just commenting on the goal, he tracked back but also played some lovely football.
