Before you all go popping the champers celebrating the arrival of new owners, don't forget the Allams ( lying ****s that they are ) did say there is a second Chinese party interested.
I wouldn't be surprised if they mess it up by over-negotiating yet again. I'd be even less surprised if Ehab remains at the club if/when a takeover goes through.
How to spot silly ****s on the Internet 101. They always post something along the lines of the above. No matter how absurd their argument is, it's always justifiable by saying "I'm entitled to my opinion". Not if it's ****ing dumb you're not.
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/coun...city-suitors/story-29618234-detail/story.html Seems the council are open to discussion....
If new suitors purchase the club and the ground, will there be any assurance FC will be using the Kcom in the future? Could part of a deal with the council be to build FC a ground somewhere else in the city?
A good summary... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/14/hull-city-mike-phelan-chinese-takeover Nothing new but it washes away some of the rose tinted views we are suddenly ok.
You would think prospective owners of a club would sound out the expenses related to the stadium that club plays in. I'm surprised they haven't spoken to the Council. The Americans did quite early in the process, so they seem to have had their heads on straight.
They've offered to sell the ground for 1 pound if the prospective owners have the right intentions for it. Don't think that's very dickheaded!
The Council are paid nothing for the use of the stadium, so there are no expenses to investigate, they've got all the info they need from the club and SMC accounts.
Il believe theyl sell it for a quid whe its bought for a quid, bit like pappa allams promise of flogging us for a quid i think
