Curtis Davies. immense today. Reminded me of Faye when he headed every thing in the Champ season. Sam Clucas. Excellent. Great touch never stopped running. Gave it away a few times but hey what do you expect. Robert Snodgrass. With him fit we woulda stayed in the PL last time. Nasty fiery slow, got a big arse that gets in front of them and wins free kicks. Brilliant. All of em really. You could pick little things they did wrong in all of them but i'll leave that to some of the ****ers on here who like nothing better.
Davies Snodgrass Clucus But they were all heroes today. They knew that there was no hiding place, no one to come off the bench to replace them and that they were playing a team who were ruthless in exploiting weak links last season. Every player held their heads up high, walked tall, walked straight and looked the world right in the eye. Sensational performances across the board. Someone should write a song about this team.
Hey Ernie, That's what my mother told me when I was about knee high. She said "son be a proud man and hold your head up high"
Even Mike phelan said it was a challenge that didn't need to be made. It wasn't like he had a clear run on goal.
He didn't really make the challenge until he'd stood on Gray's foot after Gray had stumbled over his own step over, gone down outside the box! Hudds had stood on him because no one had touched him & he was shocked he was that close to him!
Davies Clucas Robertson Agree about Huddlestone...if i was to score out of 10 he'd be the only player to score less than 8.
It's a difficult one, they were all excellent. Great credit to Mike Phelan, his tactics were spot on. Davies Snodders Clucas Livermore was excellent also.
You are allowed your opinion, but ffs from 1-11 awesome performance Myler gave the ball away. Not a penalty anyway. Hudds had a good game. That's my opinion.
1. Davies 2. Snodgrass 3. Clucas but really, its rough justice on the 8 others, it was a true team performance.
