Agreed, but we were very lucky and didn't deserve to win really - Burnley were the better side for much of that match. However - 3 points is a great start, especially if we back it up with a win at home against Hull next week.
Despite the stats I also felt we were fortunate. Fabianski saved us 3 points today no doubt. That said, we have broken Burnley's fantastic home record - not lost in 2016 before today. Positives: Llorente did everything right today, bar score. Monty looks up for it. Kingsley has to start. Barrow - great pace and very tricky. Negatives: Not convinced by the Amat/ Fernandez pairing. How he missed that sitter I don't know. Better finishers and Burnley would have won today. Great start but tougher tests to come.
I agree with all except I felt amat and Fernández did well, give them a few more games to properly gel and I think they will do wonders. I think Neil has lost his place to Kingsley if I'm honest. Barrow and montero next game as Routledge had a bit of a shocker. Llorente look class to be fair.
