We looked a lot better toward the end there. Long and Redmond getting out a bit wider and finding some space, but now there is no one in the middle for them to pass to.

Yeah and an added presence in midfield, he seemed comfortable holding players off the ball in the Bundesliga. I feel that teams are very comfortable sitting off on the edge of their box against us because we're not really a threat from outside the box.
We need to ditch the diamond. It's making us far too narrow. We're completely toothless up front and our midfield is losing most second balls. Romeu and Cedric have been woeful.
Yep. We really need someone in midfield to grab hold of the game and run things and nobody on the pitch seems capable of doing that. Might be tempted to take JWP off instead of Davis. I also don't like seeing Shane Long out wide on the left as much as I have so far. He's wasted there.
It could have been one of the 15+ games a season that Mane is completely anonymous, we looked good going forward for the last 20 minutes.
I'm looking forward to seeing Hojberg (sp?) tbh. Mane you lose that goal threat and pace. The others I guess it's their presence and height. I'm thinking Long is going to step up and have a good season, he seems like a good hard working lad.
