Just back from me holibobs with the grand kids in sunny (NOT) Rhyl, and some of them girls from Baaaaadiff look better than the majority of the scouse browed, overweight ,foul mouthed heifers from across the estuary. The entire caravan park was like an Olympic village of fat folk all running around in track suits dragging their equally offensive offspring behind them,Nothing beats being told to " F**k Off La" by a three year old scouse misfit when he rides his bike into ya leg and you object. The entire week was like going on holiday on benefit street in Toxteth.
So today's advice is don't holiday anywhere in north wales which is within 100 Mls of scouse ville.

It's to help the Welsh. Apparently it's still Saturday over there...in about 1983.

I was looking through the thread thinking why has no one posted the team?

To be fair to myself I'm a bit distracted by the Olympics.

    Stan,

I can't believe you don't know the answer!

Sky decided to show Cardiff live in the League Cup on Thursday. Therefore opur match was moved to Sunday with no television coverage.

This in turn meant that the match at Barnsley had to be changed from Tuesday to Wednesday night.

Thankfully, we do have a 3.00 Saturday kick off next week though!

Simply because your still recovering from the extra "half pint" with Roller last Sunday!

I suppose I will have to fulfil that role in the pub next week!

After Norwich and Wednesday drew tonight, a 1-0 win would put us top of the table tomorrow afternoon! Mind you any winning result would do!

Spent some of today with a Cardiff fan mate. He was not overely confident. No new signings and he's expecting a mid table finish. Think there might be sone thing in this.for us.

Should have gone to south wales. We went to a place called Bluestone in Pembrokeshire a few years back and didn't encounter any such undesirables.

Spot on.... I was born up north (Colwyn Bay) but brought up down South (Newport). The south (particularly the south west)is far less likely to have undesirables (except the Welsh ones) and has some fantastic beaches on the Gower and in Pembrokeshire.
Llandudno seems to be the cut off point for Scousers and Mancs. Once you get to Conwy, it can be fantastic, particularly if you head towards the Lleyn Peninsula or Anglesea. My parents live between Conway and Bettws-y-coed, we visit most years and love it.
    End of tourism report.

Cardiff City started their 2016/17 Championship campaign with a goal-less draw away from home at Birmingham. Four days from then, there suffered a 1-0 defeat to League One outfit Bristol Rovers in the Capital One fixture. The new head-coach Paul Trollope is staring at a potential disaster to the his first managerial job in six years since here departed Bristol Rovers. However he will be hoping to overturn the bad start in their first competitive home match of the season.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is having an excellent start to his first full season as the manager of Queen Park Rangers. He took over midway through last season and had little success after witnessing his side finish 13th in the standings. The 3-0 home win against Leeds United in the opening day of the Championship is followed by a 3-2 home win the Capital One tie against Swindon Town. This is the first away match of the season for QPR, who ended last season on a 10 match win-less run away from form.

    Cardiff vs QPR: Head-to-Head Stats
    • QPR and Cardiff City met for the first time since 2011 last season and each of the two league matches end in draws, 0-0 at QPR and 2-2 at Cardiff.
    • The last three matches between these two sides have ended in draws.
    • Cardiff have managed to win only once in the last eight meetings with QPR, while they lost 3 and drawn 4.
    • QPR are unbeaten in the last four trips to Cardiff, however three of those are draws.
    • Cardiff’s last home win against QPR was on January 2008, which is their only home win in 7 matches against the same opposition.
    • Also, six of the eight home games of Cardiff against QPR has witnessed under 2.5 goals.
