Are you sure it was Steve Bruce?

Not Susan Boyle, Mrs Doubtfire or Colin Montgomery?

Town in North East Surrey, mate. It is the home of the car company that bought the rights to the Lotus 7 40-odd years ago and which now makes a beast of a track racer, judging by what's in the showroom window!

I'd love a 7 meself, but three kids means no chance. But every year they have a carnival here and you can take a 7 out for a test drive down the by-pass and back. They're excellent, but it feels like your arse is about to scrape the floor at 70MPH! Eeek...

jordan, you need to get a life. 24 and trying to wind up newcastle fans on the internet is what you consider fun? you're pathetic.

You'll need a job with an investment bank to pay the insurance on a 7 at seventeen! :)

TBH until you're 25 you're stuffed. But you can book track days with decent cars quite cheaply. The best ones are Lotus Elise's and Caterham 7's for value and they're fantastic fun. Good luck with it...
