Quite seriously, threads being derailed with this rubbish is getting tiresome, particularly as there is quite genuinely a chance of a takeover happening. Coming into this thread and wading through endless puns about cows yesterday and now horses is pretty **** when I'm looking for any developments. People can say there haven't been any, but how am I to know until after I scroll through the thread. Have a puns thread or something similar if everyone's that desperate to make plays on words.
That's my point. I come on and see three new pages on this thread, I assume something's happened, instead I scroll through pages of off-topic immature jokes.
Fair enough, but as a surfer of boards I can tell you it's pretty standard and is good as light relief from the tension that builds up
I agree, jokes and light humour are fine, but when it's page after page it gets a bit grating. Sometimes news can get buried because someone makes a post and it gets buried in the page. Anyway, I've said my piece, not much I can do about it but just thought I'd mention it.
