If you remember several years ago [I think in Beijing], some wag from the Australian sports body said that GB were best at every sport where we were sitting down. And it was true. Sailing, Rowing, Cycling, etc. It was also immense sour grapes because we finished higher up the medal table. That's been the case ever since.
The only thing standing between Canada and men's doubles tennis bronze is the incomparably-named Jack Sock. Interestingly, he won the Wimbledon doubles in 2014 with one of the Canadian duo he's now facing.
Yay, GB Men's Sprint do it again.! Amazingly, they didn't need the best road sprinter in the World either - Mark Cavendish.
Must admit I thought they'd blown it for a moment, until they started coming back. And when Australia were clearly blowing up the GB lads just needed enough laps to secure the win. For me the last three laps were just for cheering.
Murray and Watson on the verge of going out. Indian pair playing well and hitting the skin off the ball - very powerful.
Didn't watch the game, but Murray isn't playing well at the moment....squeezing through in the singles. Mind you, that is what a champion does when not playing well.
Why does the GB National Anthem have the strange not-quite-full drum roll? First note always feels like it's in the wrong place
