We've won silver in the trampolining, out of nowhere it seems.

    Well done Bryony Page.

Didn't they replace greco-roman wrestling with table tennis this year ? Bit daft having some of these "sports" included.

Aye, agreed, but next time they'll introduce angling and crown-green bowling. Tiddlewinks the one after that.:emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:

Think the horse dancing is awesome. Welled up at the lass when she realised she'd won a medal in the trampolining.
Fooking love British cycling. They have found form at the right moment. Can hear the groans from the other countries as they realise we've brung it.
I'm after getting a fixie. What could possibly go wrong <laugh>

Men's team pursuit team looking really good for the gold. Just set a new world record in qualifying for the gold and silver race off against Australia.

The bicycling round in circles is going well

I rode at the velodrome in Manchester a couple of years ago. Amazing experience, but it's a bit ****ing scary at the top of the slopey corners! And even more scary when you come down the other side and the pedals want to go faster than your legs do!

Golf - love the game, but in the Olympics ! No bloody way...may as well have a round the world yacht race. Or a trip to the moon and back. The games should be all about athleticism - speed, strength and endurance or any combination thereof. I'm even against tennis as an Olympic event. Get rid of all the major money-making sports and parlour games imo .
Speed knitting anyone ? Darts - now there's a good 'un.<laugh> Oh aye, why do we have to have horses involved ? Makes know sense as humans strength is masked by the ability of the nags. Nuts.
