It could be a bit of pre match poker and see him start. I find it amazing that he was match sharp only a month ago and now he's not fit to play after a few weeks of training. But I'm no sports scientist. Although I do think it's good man management to allow players some personal time and have a player back with high morale for the coming season. If it's only 60 mins of football he's missing it'll be a good decision.
No, not seen him over there. Mostly decent types partake that particular smorgasbord. [Edit: ****: I used the N word]
Very anxious to see the team coheasivness first game out , hope Guidolin used his time weall . First game will tell a lot , hope it's good news .
Why Guildo has left out our star player is pathetic, He should be the first player on the team sheet.......He dont need extra rest, I dont buy that rubbish at the start of the season at all.....
No surprise here, Lawro has to draw, and some band called blossoms has down for a 4-1 thrashing http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36976438
I'm glad you're not my boss that's all I've got to say! Also what rubbish don't you buy? Sports science? Giving them time off? If you think that forcing a player to play before he's ready is quite short sighted. I'd prefer to have Siggy back when he's ready. Thing is, you and I don't know what the line-up will be tomorrow but if Siggy is on the bench then it's for a good reason. It'll be the sports scientists advice and the manager will be wise to take thier advice IMO
Because he hasn't even had a chance to be on the training ground with them as he signed yesterday, also it's not clear we've had international clearance for him, so there may be a few days for that, so he might not be eligible to play!
Somehow I don't think that the blossoms are football fans. Burnley to beat us 4-0 Bournemouth to beat United 5-0 Watford to beat Southampton away 3-1 West Ham to beat Chelsea away 4-0 Says it all IMO
Don't be completely ridiculous, the team is not made up of one player, the others have gone through pre season so will be more ready than players who haven't played in a month
If we lose tomorrow then we`ll probably all be in a world of pain Then we`ll all be calling for the baby to be thrown out with the bathwater.
Too much head slapping here for my liking this isn't Cardiff city mun! . I agree with jager, you've got to give the squad some credit dai. Cork Fer Britton Fernández Naughton Kingsley Amat Barrow Montero Routlage Fabianski Rangel Dyer Are all premier league quality players with experience. moreover, Llorente is definitely an upgrade on Go-miss so actually I feel quite confident Ayew never really suited our style of play and was only really effective up top (again Llorente is an upgrade) Ash is a loss but I'm confident that Amat is more than ready to step up. You seem to be acting quite petulant because you haven't got your way. The form of the team towards the end of the season without Siggy, Ash and Taylor should be an indicator that we have a decent squad with players ready to step up when the opportunity arises.
Guidolin : " We'll do our talking on the pitch " , the " Old Man " seems confident and happyish with " His " team . Good combo ! Sign me a little less worried about the game and season before first kick .
