More developments for this one. Seems as if he's ours, but Kazan won't release him unless we pay the fee.
Yeh that's fine but we still stand to loose him Some one will give them the money Great if we do get him
What, has he signed a pre contract agreement or can somebody else swoop in and get him? Or if we are bottom of the table 15 points adrift in January can he change his mind? Pay the money now and we have him for the crucial start of the season and it reduces the risk of us going through our awful start and slow catch up!
Just pay the damn money the season's about to start. Can't believe they don't grasp what a crucial signing he is.
Especially as Larrson is out for 6 months, Cattermole is struggling with an injury and Kirchoff is and always will be injured it seems. Could really do with him now. NOW Goddammit NOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!
Bizarre world.... Happy to pay £5.5mill for a couple of young lads who may (or may not) improve us but not willing to pay £6mill to improve the side spectacularly?!? I can fully understand Ellis frustration as the 'Ruskies' are playing hard-ball demanding stupid money for a player who is both almost out of contract & not wanted however, 'is he worth £6mill to us' ??? Abso-****in-lutely !!!
And when he does sign in January he will have had not 1st team football in nearly 9mths, pay the bloody money for God sake!!!
This is an interesting move by the club and player. They are effectively telling Kazan take what we're offering you or get nothing. It's a game of poker now. Quite a smart move IF we win.
