I have just caught the conversation that started above... I actually do a lot of rhubarb forcing..... and grape trampling.... and am tops with Runner beans
Yes, well when all our navels are clear of fluff this is the sort of havoc we can wreak. The legality of rhubarb forcing is obviously in question. As for grape trampling...
Morning all, trying to get an early start before it becomes too hot to do a lot outside. I see that at long last the accused thugs who are on trial for beating up Nic Cruwys have appeared in the Crown Court. Pleaded not guilty, so I wonder what their defence will be. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/ne...ng_injuries_in__vicious_attack___court_hears/

Yesterday and today I have totally wasted three hours of my life. Why is it that a UK company, which is not UK owned, is unable to accept the fact that people who have one of it's mobile phones might wish to live outside of the country? O2 is a large company, yet their website is stuck in the dark ages. Far smaller companies have the option to say which country you live in, then a drop down box has a format for that country to fill in your address. O2 and such simple things are beyond them. For them the simple answer is telephone your bank in England; get a temporary address, let us put that into our system, then when completed get back to your bank and change it back again. My comments to the young lady I was speaking to became more and more pointed about the company , which I feel is unfair on her as she is just there to try and sort problems, but I bet she goes home at night and wonders if the job is worth what it pays. I demanded compensation that they agreed to, but I think I would rather have the three hours back.
Morning all from Jersey. It's warm and dry at the moment, but it's also humid and cloudy, so I wouldn't be surprised if we had some rain. I hope not for those taking part or watching the Battle of Flowers parade this afternoon. While that's taking place, I'll be at work.
Good morning all from a warm and dry Weston-super-Mare! Internet keeps dropping in and out Have a good day and very good luck to your Golden Boys!
