IS Nasri actually any good??? He had 2-3 months of playing quite well, then faded off. Ok he was probably Arsenals best player, but what does that say....not alot!! I hope to God City sign him and not United, although I doubt we actually think that he is worth it
He was not our best player last season. He was outstanding for 2-3 months not just 'playing quite well' for that time. Anyway Fergie really wanted Nasri and put an offer on the table therefore Fergie rates him. Fergie>Comas/99.
He is very good but you have enough wide players in your team. And RvP probably gets the honour of being our best player last year.
for me, RVP is every year. Top striker, as long as he's on the field anyway, i'd rather wait and get him on a free later if the ****ty deal falls through.
To be honest I think he plays best when he's in more of a free role in the center, whenever he plays there for France he's usually at the heart of everything they do just like he was against England in that friendly not too long ago when he played as part of a midfield 3 with M'vila and Gourcuff I think it was.
AWWW poor arsenal team so let me get this right!! Your best player was RVP how man games did he play?
OR it the fact a player who you all jizzed over last season thinks your team is dire enough for him to wan to move
Would not say RVP was our best player. Wilshere was clearly the best. Was ever present for the whole season and his performances where always normally 8/10 until the end. And Wilshere turned up in the big games. I am a massive Nasri fan and still am, but Wilshere had a better season.
Thats the stupidest question ever asked. is he ANY good? of course he is. phrase your question to "is he really THAT good". He started playing bad when the pressure got to much to handle, i personally think he'd do really well at united. if i was him i wouldnt go city though. he isnt getting a place over silva and thats for sure.
Surely the entire Arsenal team started playing badly when the pressure got too much to handle? That's more a group thing than an individual thing - when players around you start making mistakes and letting their heads drop then it's very difficult to keep your own level high. And I disagree that he wouldn't get a place over Silva. Silva has mainly been played as a trequarista by Mancini, which is the one role Nasri doesn't play. At City Nasri could easily play on the wing or in a midfield role behind Silva. And as I said in another thread, if Tevez does leave City then Nasri will see a chance to become one of their major players given that he scored and created more goals last season than any City player bar Tevez and Silva. In contrast, Rooney, Berbatov, Nani and Hernandez all scored and created more than Nasri which implies that if he comes to Utd he won't be as important an attacking player.
About half the season, but in that time he was completely amazing. Nasri only showed up for the 1st half of the season and whilst he was very good I think RvP was better. Bitterness has nothing to do with it.
Yeah its such a shame he hasn't won more, a player of his quality deserves more. I reckon Nasri will go to City eventually.
I don't think he's a world class/game changer like Sneijder for example, but good player none the less, he destroyed england when france won against them nearly a year ago.
Now there's a proper player. Silva is a far better player than Nasri I wanted us to sign Silva as Nedved's replacement about 2 years ago, top quality player.
