I think bigotry is more acceptable than racism. If you think someone is an idiot for believing something you think is nonsense, and hate them for it, then fair do's. I hate those ****ing Hollywood ****ers with their spaceman religion - what's it called again? I forget but you know the one. Seems a bit harsh to hate someone because of the colour of their skin though, something they never chose, after all. EDIT: Scientology, that's it. Hate those ****ers. Especially the black ones.
Mick is hardly on here anymore. I miss you Malteser. If you have enough time in your life to hate other races then you have no life. FFS, get a life. I'd like to know how many "internet racists" on this forum are actually racisits. Member of a right wing party? Nazi? Skinhead? If not, just shut the **** up.
Wrong my friend. The British Skinhead movement began in the 1960`s by a group of people sharing their love for original SKA music from the Carribean. Unfortunately the style was taken on and bastardised by the NF movement in the early 1970`s. Skinheads have been tarnished as racists ever since.True original Skins are anything but racist
You've invalidated your own argument. I'm sure when other movements started they did so with good intentions and completely different ideologies than they have now. So yes most people now associate the Skinheads with racist thugs.
I stand very corrected. My point is just the same though. I watched a doc last week about skinheads(they call themselves that) in Russia who were against immigration. Did you see it? If you had seen it all it was was skinheads intraining camps and kicking **** out of everyone that wasn't "Russian White" I don't belive SKA music comes into the equation these days.
Being a lazy **** that I am wiki cut and paste A skinhead is a member of a subculture that originated among working class youths in the United Kingdom in the 1960s, and then spread to other parts of the world. Named for their close-cropped or shaven heads, the first skinheads were greatly influenced by West Indian (specifically Jamaican) rude boys and British mods, in terms of fashion, music and lifestyle.[1] Originally, the skinhead subculture was primarily based on those elements, not politics or race.[2] Since then, however, attitudes toward race and politics have become factors by which some skinheads align themselves. The political spectrum within the skinhead scene ranges from the far right to the far left, although many skinheads are apolitical.[citation needed] Fashion-wise, skinheads range from a clean-cut 1960s mod-influenced style to less-strict punk- and hardcore-influenced styles.
Nobody is arguing with you that the origin of "skinheads". 2011 - skinheads just want to be racist and kill non-whites. Simples
Sadly true but there are still quite a few SKA, Mod & Northern Soul nights where old school skins & scooter boys hang out black and white
I heard somewhere that the swastika wasn't always a nazi symbol, but I don't care enough to research it further. Just thought it might help someone's argument in some form. If that is indeed what you are doing; arguing. If so, the tone is much more pleasant than the hun thing earlier. Well done, chaps.
Response to Bollocks. I'm not sure but I think it was a "bastardisation" of the hindu symbol of peace.
