(Un)fortunately I can't even make the pub meet! Probably shouldn't ditch the girlfriend to meet some strange people off of the Internet in a pub

Hope to see some of you at the pub. As usual probably won't be there till after 1.30.
Are you guys hanging around for long or are you off to st Mary's early for a free drink.

Doesn't seem so long ago some of us were there for the last game of last season.

I would gladly take a similar performance, I mean from the match, not the drinking.

 

I'll be ducking the free drink and staying at the pub.

 

And Helen and I have to stay because we are handcuffed to him.

 

...unless of course the ladies want me to escort them to the ground for their freebie ...

 

Now don't go giving us choices....has taken me months to decide to come to the Farmhouse.

 

I won't tell the wife (or my mate who is driving me on Sat), as they may find it weird I'm meeting strange men and women that are handcuffed together then escorts for freebies

 

I'm usually spitfire or frog and parrot on match days, the farmhouse is a bit out my way tbh, and im to lazy to walk over to that side of town.

Got to say I'm pretty excited for the start of this season. A solid squad which might lack the 'exciting big-money signing' which seems to fuel pundit expectations. But we are largely the same side that finished 6th last year. For me only Mane will be missed and he wasnt even that notable in any significant sense last year so cant say we will be lost without him. Its all to play for and after reading a detailed tactial analysis of Puel's pre-season I cant wait to see how we turn out against Watford. I think we will be more exciting and more unpredictable. Looking forward to it. COYS.
