Champions league spot???
i'd just settle for one more point than the team in 18th place (as long as there is no FA enquiry at end of season otherwise 16 points)
Love it good stuff some of us on this posts just don't believe ... keep it up because when we finish up there I will ensure the NEG's of not606 are exposed

And I dont think we will be too far off that provided we can do well at home.
Ging - You're medication is wearing off mate! We'll take 6 points of Man City??? Far too early to be on the sherry
North I know I am the eternal optimist but I thing young Ging has hit the prozac early. City will go top 3 this year in shootout with a changing Man U squad and a fading Chelsea side. Arsenal will lose Fibreglass and Nasri and sign Barton and Liverpool will rue the £35m spent on Andy Carroll's ponytail
If they can kidnap Tevez's kids and keep at Eastlands then theyre a good bet. Man U will struggle (relatively) this season and Chelsea will be a disaster zone with about 30 overinflated egos, a manager out of his depth and Fat Frank hittin' the pies. I have a lot of time for the silky Arsenal but they are just too fragile. Also is it just me who thinks £35m for Fibreglass is fantastic money?
I hope Man City fall short again... buying success is shallow and proves it takes more than money to win
Know what you mean, but I think the title has been getting bought for awhile. I'm hoping Leicester Fk it up for those reasons, they're really pissing me off!
Liverpool will start better this season, so they will finish higher. Man Ure have lost too many key players and despite spending big, I haven't seen the replacements for Scholes and Van Der Saar, so they will not be so dominant. Chelsea? Melt-down waiting to happen, I'm afraid. Too many ego's and I do not rate the new manager's ability to cope with them all. Man City have spent way too much money, but if they lose tevez it'll all be for nothing. There's no talisman, and they need one. Arsenal, with or without Fabregas, have flattered to deceive for many years. They have undoubted talent, and with Vermaelen back have a much more solid defence, but it's time for the rest of the team to step it up. And ffs, someone tell them that it's OK to have a pop at goal from outside the six-yard box.... I can't really see the top 4 coming from anyone else. Spuds are not a coherent unit - they have no settled team and rely too much on Bale and Modric. Sunderland have spent big on just about everyone, but there's no real quality there, just a hgh wage bill. Villa have lost too many players, and nobody else comes close to these. I agree with some of the sentiments expressed on other threads that the Prem is going to be very competitive this season, but that's just because the teams at the top are, imho, failing to do the necessary work to maintain the gap they usually have. As for us? No predictions from me about points from our games this year. I'll just celebrate every time we snatch a point from a game we should lose, and every time we convert a probable draw into an unlikely victory. And I'll have a slightly morose pint every time we come away from a game with no points, but plenty of pride - and that's the only prediction I have. That our players (whoever crosses the white line in hoops or funny red and white quadrants) will leave their heart and soul out there for the club.
