Just too side track the debate a little, SB is now down to 7/1 3rd fav to become our manager, do the new owners want him back,

 

Hope not (putting tin hat on) he was treated badly in the end but has ran out of ideas in the PL. we should never have been relegated with the squad we had. What really sticks in my throat is the 2 burnley games especially at home, if we were still playing now I don't think we'd have created a chance.

Bruce was the best manager we have ever had in my opinion but a few points always stand out
- last relegation, new years day losing to a poor Leicester side (I said to my missus then after a days skiing we would be relegated)
- same season burnley matches as mentioned
- last season not been able to break teams down who figured out our tactics, no plan B

Bruce attracts top players, fosters team spirit, and sets up sides well, but not certain that he would have kept us up.

Should never been treated as he was though, and will always be a legend

 

Agree 100% just find it strange people seam to be putting money on him.

 

To determine if they are suetable?

 

Or, get somebody better using our new found wealth.
