Should Leeds be beating teams like Fleetwood Town week in week out?

This time last year, we would have lost that tie.....with class.

Personally I thought Hernendez, Roofe and Antonsson were very good.

I also thought Mowatt added something when he came on.

Wood was steady, and did not lack confidence.

Taylor's transfer talks are not effecting him.

Green made some important safes and came out well to collect dangerous balls.

All in all I was satisfied.



We desperately need a marquee signing centre back and a DM still....

I still worry when Green is going to make a mistake, regarding Taylor I thought he looked like he couldn't care less. Wood seems like an expensive luxury. Really impressed by Roofe, Hernandez and Antonsson though.

 

Its a long time Shaks since weve been able to say new signings have impressed. I notice Cellino not getting credit from certain quarters but when we sign a dud, its one of his. Fickle fans or what

 

Morning all. I have to disagree on Taylor. If his head has been turned, the only way someone will come in for him with an offer too big to turn down (8-10m) is if he's putting in performances to justify such a bid. Commentators on LUTV last night seemed to think he put in a shift.

Antonsson was previously coached by Pep Clotet and Hernandez was at Swansea with Monk, so that's where the recommendations would come from. Roofe I'll give credit to Cellino but who else?

Okay, strike that one, anybody else because we seem to have been shipping out the Cellino experiment (Bellusci, Antennuci, Bianchi etc). In fact the only thing that makes me think TOMA is true.

 

This is not about Taylor its about Leeds United. The manager is trying to assemble a team hoping to challenge for promotion. I cannot see the point of including someone who does not want to play for the club.

 

Nail on head.... These signings were recommendations from Evans and Monk... The three RBs Cellino came up with Monk turned them down and Limbombe went elsewhere
