    On the subject of his hair- "not really my place to comment" (he says in a deep manly voice). As for the back-drop - you would have through they could at least have put a sponsors screen behind him <doh>

    I really don't mind Claude being a bit careful with the readies - it's what we do after all. That said, my child-like impatience is currently playing havoc with my sanity - clearly it's only me that realises the PL begins again this weekend and that we need to sign 18 forwards or else :emoticon-0175-drunk

    Think Blackmore is just being a wee bit credulous. There are roughly zero managers who have stood up and demanded that their team stop trying to sign good players for them...it's one of those tropes clubs use to show i) that they can spend, and that ii) the manager has confidence in his squad. As Guan has explicitly confirmed...Puel isn't the reason we haven't signed anyone (and he isn't the one doing the spending in our setup, anyway).

    There are no more signings, Kat has put the club up for sale , Fonte, Tadic and VVD have all put in transfer requests and the sky over Southampton has turned black with fire balls falling over St.Marys....!!!!!
