I think you'll find that we've been down that route with a certain Mr Hughton, I seem to recall it went down like a lead balloon with City fans as he never appeared to have a 'Plan B' (except with Dave of course;))
Stop being so negative KIO! FFS!!.... It was:

Plan A: Lump it forward with hope.
Plan B: Pass it back to the Keeper.

From Sky Sports: "74: Luton are pretty much in control of this now. Villa don't seem to have had the ball anywhere near the home side's goal for about half an hour."
Good to see that despite a change of manager and a clear out of some surplus players, they've still contrived to take last season's form into the new campaign <laugh>

McCormack played the first half and Gestede the second half. No goals between them. :emoticon-0136-giggl

McCormack did sweet F all. The commentators on Sky were talking about how the purchase of him would give Villa fans a lift! If I was a Villa fan (Heaven Forbid) the McCormack purchase would just prove to me that the higher ups haven't got a single clue what they are doing. 14 million they spent! Utter lunacy!

I see we entertain Coventry in the next round! A chance for Maddison to start a game!

Ipsh*t would have got a home game to entertain Stoke.

I'd recorded the highlights from last night and 3 ex city players involved.
McGeehan took his goal well and could easily have blasted it over the bar. The defence in front of Bunn looked VERY shaky and Greeno's penalty save saw Leeds into round 2.
I'll definitely get a ticket for the Coventry game!!!

I'm pretty sure I'll get a ticket for that, depending on what night the match gets scheduled. The week of 22nd august. Wouldn't be able to make the Thursday or Friday, but recon it's more likely the Tuesday or Wednesday night.

I'm watching "I believe in miracles" this afternoon. The film based on Clough and Forest.

Starts off with the interview after his sacking from Leeds, which I've only heard audio of, and seen acted out in "The Damned United"

Been looking forward to watch this.
