Well I'm simply taking it from the players who have been involved in the pre-season friendlies and have squad numbers: GK: 1. Le Keeper 23. Cole DF: 2. Berry 3. Williams 5. Zubar 6. Nelson 13. Soukouna 14. Bhasera 16. Richards 19. Gibson MF: 4. Fletcher 8. Walton 7. Daley 11. Young 18. Copp 20. Hourihane ST: 10. Hitchcock 17. Sims (although last few times he played as AM) Otherwise I can not see why Reid would not want to sign him up.
Feeney has just left Oldham according to newsnow.co.uk - looks like we will have him signed up by tomorrow. Number 9 or 15?
Apprentices do not count in twenty total during administration..........so we do have some leeway for more players.
If he can shake off the niggling injuries that hindered his time at Oldham it could be a good signing? Must be better than Rory P anyway!
Since he was a regular starter for N.Ireland (until injured) we can presume so. Bit older than Rory though.
He has all the qualities we are looking for FREE. Actually he is an intelligent player and an old-hand but as Plym has pointed out hardly prolific recently. However good signing IMHO with the youth we have upfront just what we need to bring the best out of them, hopefully!!! If it comes off will it be loan or signing?
There is one be all to end all in the signings we make. That is cost first second and last. What do you expect management to say when somebody isn't signed? "We can't afford them". Nope we will not hear that officially, it will be "personal reasons" or simply "interest not persued". I have said many times that players have not worked out in one place only to blossom in another. We have to give them all the benefit of any doubt and get behind them not slag them off before kicking a ball for us. We had enough of that previously.
As anyone seen Tresor Kandol wandering around looking lost ?............he hasn't turned up to have a chat with PR..........hope he hasn't changed his mind..........noticed it's one stop before the USA.
