To replace Fabregas, he is all we need.

    Out of favour at Madrid.

    A world class playmaker.

    And supposedly available for £25m

    Thoughts?

Completely agree - have said this on a few articles today and yesterday.

Although his wages would be an issue and i expect he would have to take a paycut to come over to the EPL, it may be workable to agree a wage.

But most importantly is that we are in a position where we can afford £25 million for the transfer. And on top of that it would help repair the relationship between the team/AW and the fans, it would show a real sign of intent and ambition and would also convince the other players in the team that we are pushing forwards and will do what is neccessary.

I would not bring him in as a Fabregas replacement but rather as a player to show the likes of Fabregas, Nasri etc that they need to perform to keep there spots as there is genuine world class competing with them.

He is very injury prone and his wages will be way too high for us.

If Kaka is the answer the question must be 'who's the most unlikely midfielder to sign for Arsenal this Summer?'

There are so many reasons why this won't happen and shouldn't happen.

    - Wenger's transfer policy, i.e older players. I know we need experience but bringing in an over-priced player who has never played in England is a disaster waiting to happen

    - Past his peak and lost some pace

    - Suffered with bad injuries. Even if he did replicate his form, there's no guarentee we'd get a full season out of him

    - Brazilian's don't generally do very well in the EPL, not the big names anyway

    - We don't hand out huge salaries and if we did, it could upset other players

    - He'd come with too much hype and expectation

If Madrid are prepared to let him go for less than half they paid for him 2 years ago that tells you all you need to know about his ability as a world class player now.

On top of this, the wages would be too high. He'll end up back in Brazil within 12 months....to think city bid 100 million for him 2 years ago.

Have to agree with Chelsea, he will probably go back to Brazil. Although he is still a quality player he seems to be past his best and too injury prone now, too much of a gamble in my opinion.

He is 29 and although he may be past his best he is still world class and would start every game for us if he came to Arsenal.

Watching him play even when he is out of shape and returning from injury he is absolute quality and what impresses me most is his final ball - he would be a player getting alot of assists.

Also you say he would be a massive gamble, but surely taking a big gamble on a potentialy title winning player is better than playing it safe and sitting around twiddling thumbs during the transfer window? All other clubs have gone for big signings recently and if they flop then they flop. But i personally think Kaka would be well worth a punt at £25 million.

Also there would be an increase in shirt sales to have his name on the back and Arsenal as a team would get more publicity. Then there is also the fact that even if he flopped at Arsenal he would have a big resale value due to who he is.

Since Denilson has gone on loan we need a new Brazilian as well! ;)

Kaka is truely World Class and would do exceptionally well in the Premierleague. He's not a small guy and could handle the physicality.

He would do well at Arsenal, United even Tottenham but I dont think he would suit Chelsea or Man City.

The reason for that is Kaka needs to play in a free role between midfield and the strikers so would have to play in a team that would accomodate him with a more flexible formation.

Idd theBear, he would be amazing at Arsenal or United. And his size means he could cope with the physicality well.

Really would like to see him playing in the EPL and would love even more to see a Kaka/Fabregas/Arshavin midfield feeding the ball to RVP.

Anyone saying he isn't still capable of playing at the top level is quite simply wrong.

And at £25 million i can't believe there isn't more noise about him from the English fans.

    @Ghingolo

Are you suggesting Kaka is no longer World Class? Clearly you haven't seen him play. His vision for the final ball is amazing. He would get tons of assists if he was playing at Arsenal. Would work incredibly well with Fabregas, RVP and Arshavin imo.

Yes he has been unlucky with injuries but that just means he will fit in with the rest of our lot :p And previous injuries do not always mean a player will continue to be unfit.

I'd like to see Kaka At arsenal, i think he'd do well. But again, i can't see Arsenal paying his most likely 120,000+ wages plus 25million.

You don't say. There are no playmakers in the premier league, even Cesc is more of a CM. Ganso is gonna be quality though. Pjanic is a good player aswell.

    I do say.

But yes i agree Kaka is a proper playmaker, his final ball is what sets him aside as top draw. The balls being thread through to RVP by Kaka and Fabregas would be immense.

Someone go tell AW please. Thanks.

So from that article it looks like (even if out-dated) Kaka atleast likes Arsenal and the way they play football. His creativity would work so well with us as well.

I wish Arsenal would put in a bid for Kaka i honestly believe he would make a massive, massive difference to the teams ability, creativity, mentality and ambition.

He's the sort of experieinced player others can look up to and can hold a steady head.
