    Reading the article, if what they're saying is correct he may well be persuaded to sign a contract that contains an agreeable release clause. Set at a price that both can accept.

    It still seems more likely that he will go, though.

    If Mahrez wants out then we'll sell him.

    It's Claudio's philosophy to keep players that want to be here. It's why we sold Kante.

    We didn't particularly need the money but Kante wanted to leave so we let him.

    TBH, we've been in the same position ourselves with some very good players. Unfortunately, once their head is no longer with you, if they're already elsewhere mentally, it's best to just screw the most you can out of it and move on.

    If what The Grauniad article says is correct, Leicester won't let him go now as they have no time left to look for a suitable replacement.
